First time at this camp site. What can we say that has not been said before. Lovely pleasant people, brilliant pitching, wonderful showers and toilets.
Amazing washing up facilities; indoors, heated, piped music which varied at different times of the day and every sink had a plug, bowl, drainer and clothes! There were even flowers in the public phone booth! And yes we used the bus service to Swanage and Weymouth. Good fun, £6. 50 an adult return for each 1 hour journey. Made friends with the chickens and brought their eggs. Local pub (and voucher) great. |

South Lytchett Manor Caravanning and Camping Park is situated on land that once belonged to the historic South Lytchett Manor House, where three generations of the Lees family lived while Lords of the Manor at Lytchett Minster. > See history.

In 2007, the natural beauty of the park was at the forefront when new owners Joanne and David Bridgen invested in the development and extension of all site facilities, with every care taken to house new, modern amenities in oak-framed buildings complementing the site's peaceful, countryside environment.
Today a strong emphasis is placed on promoting a green and sustainable holiday environment. Ever mindful of environmental issues, South Lytchett Manor takes care to encourage birds and wildlife of all types, and to maintain plant and animal habitats. A recycling scheme is also run on the campsite to minimise its impact on the environment.
Offering everything needed for a wide range of holidays including budget breaks, family caravanning and camping trips to motor home tours, South Lytchett Manor is the ideal choice for holidays in the South West.
The site is run as a family venture. Site Managers Dane and Chris, proprietors Joanne and David and son Matthew, and all the other members of the team work together to help make each and every holiday as special and enjoyable as possible.
