Proud to be a dog friendly campsite in Dorset

We’ve been welcoming dogs onto the park for many years and are proud to be a dog friendly campsite in Dorset. Going camping with your dog is one of life’s little pleasures, for them a trip to a new camping ground enables them to enjoy new experiences and meet new people and other dogs.

Dorset is great for dogs

With so many dog friendly areas surrounding us there is no shortage of places you can take your four legged friends. The beautiful Dorset countryside is covered with some of the best dog walks in the country. There are some amazing coastal walks and wooded valleys to explore right on our door step, just come and ask us and we’ll provide you with lots of options. We keep a comprehensive folder in our information centre for local dog friendly walks. On our reception counter we even have dog biscuits to keep your four legged friends happy!

Happy Campers ツ

Five families descended upon this campsite for the second year running. We were in tents as opposed to caravans. The grass is level, well drained and easy to peg into. The shower blocks and washing facilities are in top condition and kept very clean.

The staff are very efficient at checking people in and arranging the pitches so that everyone has a fire break between tents. They are also incredibly helpful and generous with their time. (One staff member fixed the lights on my trailer whilst we were out!)

South Lytchett Manor deserves the plaudits it has received. (Campsite of the year 2016 I believe).

We decided to incorporate a few days away with friends whilst having our tow bar fitted on our motorhome nearby. On looking round the area on the internet June we decided to try this site on reading the great reviews and helpful staff at reception. As they were nearly full we ended up booking 2 super pitches.

The pitch sizes were brilliant and the site really well looked after. Everyone was very friendly and made us feel welcome and made time for us even though it was really busy.
This was our first visit but definitely wont be the last. Hopefully next time we will be able to stay a bit longer.

Thank you to everyone for having us.

We only camp as a couple, this was our first time camping with a child and we are so glad we picked here!

We arrived on Monday afternoon and had to change our booking as one of our party couldn’t make it. This meant that our friend, a mother and her 2 year old would have been in a different field on their own, they have never camped before! This place went above and beyond to accommodate us and get us in the same field! Phil and Deb, in particular, were amazing. They got us next to each other and this made our holiday. This made for a really memorable few days and one very happy little boy who now loves
camping!!!
