WOW! All campsites should be like this!
OK, it's not cheap but it's fantastic and you certainly get what you pay for! We had a hardstanding pitch with EHU, water, waste and TV hook-up in the Randalls and it was perfect. Quick, easy and very friendly check in. Papers ordered in advance - pay on collection. Shop stocked up nicely. 2 toilet/shower blocks - we used the one nearest reception. It also had 2 family rooms (toilet/shower/sink). Everything was spotlessly clean. Used the Meadow dog walk a few times - plenty of space for sniffing and weeing! The site give out vouchers to use at the local pub (St Peters Finger) - buy 2 main meals and get a free bottle of wine or 2 pints of local real ale - bargain. 10/15 min stroll to the pub and very doggie friendly (inside and out). Lovely, friendly staff, really good food and certainly NOT over priced. Best meal we had all week by far! There's a bus stop right outside the site to Poole. We had planned on using it but unfortunately our dog wasn't well on the Friday so we headed home a day early. We would not hesitate in recommending this site to anyone. We are already planning a trip back sometime in 2012! |

• Have attained a five star grading, the highest level possible.
• To give customers that additional special attention in making them welcome on arrival at the park and throughout their stay.
• To provide the highest standards of service and facilities possible on their park.
• To offer all visitors a Best of British Brochure on arrival to make them aware of other member parks in the group throughout the UK who are committed to offering a similar level of quality and customer service.
The highest rating of five stars, which is a prerequisite for membership of Best of British, is reserved for those parks of exceptional quality which also provide specific key facilities and services. To achieve a five star grading, a park has to have:

Once it was a place to talk, talk, talk, but now our traditional old red phone box is enjoying a new sense of peace and quiet in its latest incarnation as a site library.

Thanks to everyone who has bought chicken food, or ice blocks from our shop, as the proceeds from these sales have combined over the year to raise £513.86 for Julia's House.
Julia's House is Dorset's only hospice dedicated to children with life-limiting conditions, providing life-changing support for families both in their own homes and in the hospice itself.
It's an intensely worthwhile organisation and one we are so proud to support. Receiving only approximately three per cent of its funding from the Government, Julia's House relies on the Dorset community to help raise the remainder of required income. This is an enormous task, bearing in mind the money needed to provide these vital services in 2011 alone is nearly £2.8m.

As any proud pet owner will know, puppies don't stay puppies for long, and the two black Labradors belonging to site owners David and Joanne Bridgen are proving the point perfectly, growing up faster and stronger with every day that passes.
