A Fun Family Day Out At Tower Park In Poole

Tower Park makes a great place for a fun family day out. There are many restaurants, activities, shops and even an amusement area to get stuck into. Fantastic if you’re staying in the surrounding area, and is only a short 15 minute drive from our grounds at South Lytchett Manor Caravan and Camping site.

Things to do

There’s lot’s to do at Tower Park to keep you occupied. Activities and entertainment are available for all ages. From Gala Bingo the parents can enjoy to the highly popular Splashdown waterpark perfect for kids, a visit to Tower Park with these main attractions is a must when in the area.

Splashdown

Make sure to bring your swimming trunks and suits because you don’t want to miss out on a massive range of water rides available at Splashdown. From the adrenaline junkie focused black, to the not so scary green labelled rides for younger audiences, water-park fun is available for all ages. There’s even an onsite cafe available where you can enjoy a bite to eat as you watch your kids embark on a thrilling waterpark adventure.

Hollywood Bowl

Get competitive with friends and family with a few games at Hollywood Bowl. With their 24 bowling alleys, offering varying levels of support such as side rails and bowling ball ramps, all age groups can participate in hours bowling fun. During your visit you can also enjoy the fully licensed bar and restaurant area that serves a wide range of beverages and grub. Celebrate in style!

Lemur Landings

Fantastic for kids aged 12 and under, Lemur Landings is a fully kitted kids play area and is the largest in the Poole area. Their play ground features a climbing zone which offers a low-ropes course, 5m time trial climbing wall and interactive “DigiWal”, a role play village featuring 7 interactive buildings, and a massive multilevel soft play frame with ball blaster cannons! While you watch the kids enjoy hours of fun, take a seat at the Cafe’ that offers plenty of hot and cold food and drink and enjoy a bite to eat.

Cineworld

Sit back and enjoy watching those highly anticipated movies on the big screen whilst enjoying cinema food favourites. Watch the latest and greatest films in the many screening rooms, which also offer upgraded seats for the ultimate cinema experience. You can even indulge in the ever so popular Ben & Jerries ice-cream during your film offered at the on site dedicated parlour.

Places to eat and drink

During a visit to Tower Park, you’re spoilt when it comes to getting peckish and craving some good food and drink. With the wide range of restaurants to choose from, you’ll be hard struck not to find something that takes your fancy.

Nandos

If you love a good chicken based dish, a visit to Nando’s is a must. Their menu offers chicken wraps, burgers, pittas, wings and more, all seasoned with their iconic rub, available in many different levels of spice. And when dessert inevitably comes round and you’re in the mood for something sweet, their dessert menu certainly doesn’t disappoint. The wide range of frozen yogurt, ice-cream, cake and brownies to choose from (especially their whiteWhite Choc & Raspberry Cheesecake) makes for rounding off the perfect meal.

Pizza Hut

Pizza Hut is the place to go when those pizza cravings kick in, offering Italian-American pizza and pasta cuisine, an unlimited buffet and many dessert options. Pizza Hut does it right allowing you to customise their own or create a completely customised pizza from scratch with their plethora of toppings. From vegetarian options such as the epic veggie to the epic meat feast pizza, there’s pizza at Pizza Hut everyone can enjoy.

TGI Fridays

If you’re in the mood for some American food during your visit, then TGI Fridays will be right up your alley. A wide range of traditional American dishes and desserts to pick from including burgers, ribs and chicken for mains, then brownies, ice-cream and shakes for afters. You won’t be disappointed with a sit down at TGI Friday’s for an enjoyable tasty treat/meal.

These Tower Park food highlights make for a perfect sit down with the family and a good refuel. The diverse range of restaurants to choose from makes finding something that takes your fancy easy.

Other food options are available at Tower Park, too, including Chiquito Bar and Grill, Pizza Express, Burger King and KFC. There’s also Candy Cabbin which offers a large selection of sweets. A perfect place to treat the kids!

Overall, we hope you agree that Tower Park makes a great excursion during a family holiday at South Lytchett. The many different activities, entertainment and food options is enough to keep you busy for a whole day out. Enjoy your day.
