We are ecstatic to announce that we scooped two Gold Awards at the Dorset Tourism Awards 2018. We were recognised as the best Touring Caravanning and Camping Park of the Year and also the best Dog Friendly Business of the Year!

These latest two golds are the latest in a long list of awards which have been bestowed to South Lytchett Manor in recent years. It comes off the back of being recognised as the overall best British site by Top 100 for the last two years and being the AA Campsite of the Year in 2016.

Park owner Jo Bridgen said of the award “We are so very proud to have been recognised as the best camping park in Dorset. It is a reflection of the continual investment we are making to the park and also the hard work of all our staff who always deliver excellent  customer service.”

Dog friendly camping heaven!

Recently we have installed a number of additional dog friendly facilities which we think would have impressed the judges. As well as having  a dedicated 2.5-acre dog exercise field, we now have a dog washing area. This enables owners to wash off muddy paws after enjoying a walk in the Dorset countryside. This helps to keep caravans and motorhomes mud free zones!

Matt Bridgen said “being able to come away on holiday with your dog is a priority for many people, which is why we are constantly looking to improve the facilities with have for dogs on the park. Being recognised as the best dog friendly campsite in Dorset is a fantastic achievement. We love having dogs here and so can’t wait to welcome even more guests and their four legged friends to South Lytchett.”
