Upton Country Park
26th October – 31st October 2019
Get crafty at Upton Country Park this October half term and learn how to carve a pumpkin with the activity team. Choose a pumpkin from the spooky pumpkin tunnel before heading to the education centre to bring your designs to life.

Farmer Palmers Â
28th October – 1st November 2019
Take the little ones to Farmer Palmers this October half term for a day of Halloween farmyard fun. Throughout the week there is an action-packed schedule of activities to keep younger members of the family entertained. Halloween themed events include face painting, a silly spooky tractor trailer ride, a mini monster hunt in the Maize Maze as well as dancing with our ‘boo crew’ to end the afternoon with a bang!

Brownsea Island

If you’re feeling brave why not head into the haunted woods on Brownsea Island this October to see what’s lurking in the trees. If you visit on 31st October you can make your own magical wand and try casting spells! After a busy morning in the crisp autumn air you can warm up by the campfire at the Outdoor Centre.

The Blue Pool

The Blue Pool is a magical place to visit throughout the year, but nothing beats Halloween. Take a walk around the lake, which is famed for its ever-changing water colour and spectacular views whilst following a spooky trail through the surrounding forest.

Lulworth Castle
27th October – 30th October 2019
Lulworth Castle is the place to be this half term if you’re looking for a fun filled day of family activities. Explore the basement and the castle grounds on a special trail as you complete your quiz book. There’s also pitch n putt, lawn games, soft play and a craft table for budding artists to try. Don’t forget to wear fancy dress for the spooky disco!
Monkey World
26th November – 3rd November 2019
Help staff find Fennel, the ring-tailed lemur during your trip to Monkey World this half term. Collect an activity sheet when you enter the park and see where you can find her orange eyes peering out at you. As you make your way around the exhibits take a detour to one of the spook stations, where little ones can try their hand at spooky sand art learn more about creatures of the night. Children wearing full fancy dress on 31st October go free!

Durlston Country Park

Learn something new this half term at one of the Purbeck Film Festivals interesting children’s workshops. Team up with local animator Dougal Dixon to create a spooky Halloween animation film using hand crafted clay figures.
Bournemouth
26th November – 3rd November 2019
Adventure Wonderland was recently voted Dorset’s top family attraction and is a must visit during the half term. There’s a spooky Halloween show taking place each day and a family friendly live action maze with cobwebs, giant spiders and characters ready to give you a fright. If you truly want to get into the Halloween spirit, why not visit at night? During the Monster Bash event the park opens until 10pm, allowing you to explore by torchlight!

Half term is a fantastic time to visit Wimborne Model Town. Throughout the week there will be family friendly magic shows, balloon modelling, halloween crafts, games and a grand costume parade.
