If you still need convincing, we’ve compiled a list of just some of the reasons to go on a glamping holiday in Dorset. There are many more, but we’ll leave a couple of the benefits as a surprise for when you come and stay!
One of the major benefits of glamping is you don’t have to worry about putting up your tent or piling the car high with bulky equipment. Simply turn up and move straight into your holiday accommodation where all of the hard work has been done for you! On arrival you can quickly unpack your belongings, before checking out the facilities and getting straight back out to explore.
We provide most of the essentials that you’ll need for a stress-free break, including a small kitchenette so you can self-cater. Make sure you check our website ahead of your stay with us, as there are a couple of things you’ll need to bring with you.
Our Dorset holiday park is set in a stunning location, within easy reach of picturesque towns and villages. From the park, you can easily get to Poole by car, bus or bike. Or make the short journey to Wareham, Dorchester, Weymouth or Swanage. All of these towns offer a wide selection of picturesque walks and a variety of exciting things to do. You’ll also find plenty of cafes and restaurants to stop and enjoy a bite to eat whilst watching the world go by.
The world-renowned Jurassic Coastline is just a short drive away, providing an abundance of spectacular beaches and hidden coves to discover during your holiday. While away sunny afternoons lounging on the pebbles and taking in the views. If you’re feeling a little more adventurous, book a watersports session or boat trip to admire the coast from a completely different perspective.
We highly recommend visiting well-known beauty spots such as Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove and Old Harry Rocks. Or, try somewhere off the beaten track such as Chapman’s Pool, Moreton and Badbury Rings.
Our cosy glamping accommodation is a comfortable base to return to after a day of adventures. All of the units have been finished to a high standard with plush soft furnishings and heritage interiors. Lay on the bed or sit back in one of the chairs as you enjoy a good book. If the weather turns cold, you’ll be warm and cosy thanks to underfloor heating or an electric log burner (depending on accommodation)
Our 5 star caravan and camping park is located in the heart of the Dorset countryside and surrounded by fields and farmland. This affords visitors plenty of opportunities for wildlife watching and feeling ‘at one’ with nature.
Sit on the decking as you enjoy your morning coffee and listen to the bird song. There are plenty of floral displays as well as mature shrubs and trees, where you can spot butterflies and insects. Some visitors have been lucky enough to spot pheasants, ducks and even deer!
We have chickens on site supplying free range eggs and a ‘help yourself’ herb garden.
If you’re looking for something a bit different during your holiday in Poole, our hand-built glamping accommodation is the perfect choice! Made by skilled craftsman, using traditional techniques and local materials, this quirky and unique accommodation is simply one of a kind!
Not only will you have a comfortable base to spend your evenings, there are plenty of fantastic photo opportunities to showcase on Facebook or Instagram. Our Romany Caravans are definitely show stoppers, with traditional gold detailing, which has been added by hand.
Glamping is a family friendly option and an ideal choice for visitors with young children. You won’t have to worry about younger members of the family not sleeping well in a tent and disturbing other visitors!
On site, there is plenty to keep little ones entertained, including our outdoor adventure playground. You can also hire children’s bikes from the park, for family bike rides around the local area.
Glamping is the perfect excuse to unplug from the world around you. Without the distractions of home and work you’ll have plenty of ‘me time’ to focus on quality family time.
You may choose to use this time to digital detox and take some time away from social media. We guarantee, you’ll feel refreshed and revitalised after your countryside break.
(Free Wi-Fi is available to all guests if you don’t want to switch off completely!)
