So, we arrived at the campsite and found our yurt ‘Aries’. When we opened the door, it looked pretty cool. There was a big bed in the middle, a couple of futons and a little kitchen area. It even had a TV. And then the huge window in the ceiling which was cool because you could look up and sometimes see the stars at night, if it wasn’t too cloudy.

In the campsite, there was a playground right behind our tent. There was a huge field with two small goals, a table tennis table and some other outdoor games. There was a load of other space as well to play whatever you wanted. There was also another duck pond, but we found that later.

So, when it was dark, through the window I mentioned earlier, we could see the sky, it was too cloudy that night though. 😭 when it was eventually bedtime we had to wear eyemasks, it was so weird. But it was that or getting woken up at dawn by the sun through the window. So I wore them and it wasn’t even as hard to sleep as I thought it would be, maybe that’s just because it was late though?

In the next day we didn’t wake up at the crack of dawn 👍 and jumped on a bus literally right outside the campsite which took us into Poole. We went on a boat into Swanage and there was this really cool steam train 🚂 we went on and then came back to the campsite.

Then we explored the campsite and found another field, and then. Guess what? Another one with goals in. So we kept going and there was a duck pond 🦆 and a small forest. So yeah the place is quite big.

At this point it was dinner time and amazingly there was a pizza van there so I didn’t have to deal with any dodgy campsite cooking from my parents. We stayed in our tent until it was dark but we still didn’t see any stars through the cloud cover.

So this was the last night for us at the campsite and I was sleeping on a futon again and I had a pretty decent sleep. You know I wasn’t woken up in the middle of the night either night by anything or anyone in the campsite.

So for our last morning at the campsite we had to pack up our stuff and we found this cool plane in the gift shop with actually flew really well. After playing with it for a bit we had to leave. It was a really good weekend. 5 stars ⭐️ though sadly we didn’t see any real ones.
