South Lytchett Manor Award Winners

As 2024 draws to a close, we are excited to announce that South Lytchett Manor has received a series of prestigious awards. Our team has demonstrated excellence in customer service, dedication, and innovation, and we are proud to have achieved the following accolades:

Award #1: AA Five-Star Platinum Award – 98% Quality Score

We have retained our Five-Star Platinum rating with an impressive quality score of 98%. The inspector remarked, “This park never fails to impress with investment year after year. This year, the glamping side of the business has expanded with no fewer than eight Mongolian yurts that are designed and finished to a very high standard by Jo Bridgen.”

Award #2: Visit England Five Star Award – 98% Quality Score

We have also retained the Visit England Five Star Gold Award, with a quality rating score of 98%. The assessor commended our team, stating, “The whole team should be hugely congratulated for the impressive levels of cleanliness across the park and the cheerful, professional manner in which they greet all new arrivals.”

These two awards recognise camping and caravanning parks that provide exceptional guest experiences across camping, touring pitches, glamping, and more. They validate our relentless pursuit of excellence, dedication to our customers, and consistent delivery of outstanding facilities.

Award #3: Loo of the Year Award

For the fourth consecutive year, we have achieved the Diamond Award for our exceptional washroom facilities. This is the highest and most prestigious accolade available to washroom providers, their cleaners, and maintainers. The Loo Awards grant this honour to only a limited number of businesses each year.

Award #4: South and South East in Bloom Award

Our team celebrated a Gold win at the In Bloom Awards for Business Landscape. They work diligently to maintain high planting standards that support wildlife and bees. This summer, “Buggingham Palace” was constructed near the duck pond.

Awards #5, 6, and 7: DMB Tourism Awards 2024

Last week, members of our team attended the prestigious Destination Management Board (DMB) Tourism Awards 2024 at the Hilton Hotel in Bournemouth. This grand event celebrates business excellence among companies and organizations across Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole.

This year, we entered the Self-Catering category for our glamping units, the Rising Star Award, and Best Customer Service.

On the night of the awards, we were thrilled to receive two gold awards for our efforts! Director Matt also won the Silver Award for the Rising Star category!
