Brand new for 2021, South Lytchett Manor has extended the shop to offer an onsite cafe and bakery! Pop in for your morning shot of caffeine or take time to relax with a cuppa after a hard day exploring the beautiful Dorset countryside. There is something for every sweet and savoury tooth with a selection of pastries, cakes, muffins, and cream teas. Don’t forget to walk away with some of our chicken eggs for your morning breakfast!
Extending the ethos of using local produce, the coffee beans are delivered fresh weekly from local artisan coffee producer Coffee Mongers and the tea is from Dorset Tea. All the bakery items are baked onsite in our own little bakery and the cakes are all made locally (if not by us!).
South Lytchett Manor has also increased the amount of local hot food producers that visit the site, with a varied menu to keep you well-fed night after night without having to cook!

We have a fantastic plethora of local producers within 20miles of South Lytchett Manor, and The Dorset Food Co. uses this local produce to cook up a feast, specializing in artisan burgers, wraps, and more in their vintage trailer, visiting site Thursdays and Sundays in the shoulder and high season. Their fish and chips have been feeding the local villages for over 8 years, and it was about time they fed South Lytchett Manor with their tasty Fish and Chips! After all, is there anything better than warm Fish and Chips when you are on holiday by the sea?

Dorset Food, wood fired to perfection!
There is nothing quite like the experience of tasting delicacies created by cooking fresh, high-quality food on an open wood fire. Sample the delicious pizzas handcrafted to order by the Fiery Fox team and cooked within minutes to your satisfaction for a scrummy dinner feast.

If there isn’t a visiting van for you to grab a delicious dining experience from, then another option is to grab a takeaway from one of the local businesses around South Lytchett Manor. Most of the local businesses are available to book direct or through Just Eat, and will deliver up to the top of the Park where you can meet them for your tasty holiday food!
Options include Chinese, Indian, Pizza, Kebabs, Japanese, Fish and Chips, Mediterannean, and Thai.
St Peters Finger
The local Hall and Woodhouse Pub, you can walk to here for some gastropub food in 10 minutes from South Lytchett Manor along a well-lit pavement.
A 20-minute walk from South Lytchett Manor, The Bakers Arms is a large pub with a generous pub garden and a hearty food offering.
A husband and wife team, Tim and Vanessa Mulholland run the Chequers Inn up at Lytchett Matravers Village, a short taxi ride away.
A classic British Tea Room a two-minute walk from South Lytchett Manor, specialising in English breakfasts and afternoon tea!

The Guildhall Tavern
A high quality seafood restaurant with a small, intimate feel in the heart of Poole, this award-winning family business is a great option for that special occasion or celebration.
Located in the high flying Sandbanks Peninsula, the name Rick Stein needs no introduction. Reserve a table overlooking the harbour and enjoy.
With the accolade of the oldest seafood bar on Poole Quay, the exterior charm is replicated by the quality of the seafood inside.
The Quay at Wareham
Tuesdays are a particular highlight for this small pub right on the Wareham River, as you get a steak dinner cooked on a superhot volcanic rock at your table for a great price.
Delfino Lounge, located in the Dolphin Centre on Poole High street, is a local family favourite. There’s something on the menu for all appetites and tastes and they make sure the little ones are entertained with plenty of games, books and activity sheets, A Kids menu is also available.
The Kitchen at Poole Park
A family-friendly pub located in the beautiful surrounds of Poole Park. A great choice for brunch, lunch, afternoon tea or early dinner. There are plenty of options to choose from with the added benefit of an ice cream parlour, definitely a favourite amongst local children!
Oriel on the Quay
Oriel on the Quay is a family run restaurant with sweeping views of Poole Harbour and Brownsea Island. They serve freshly prepared Mediterranean inspired cuisine with breakfast, lunch and dinner menus in a relaxed environment. Catering for everyone, they offer specific dishes for vegetarians, vegans and dishes for gluten-free dietary requirements.

Absolutely superb! Very speedy, efficient check in. Office couldn't do enough for you. Customer service top class. Our family party stayed in 3 dog friendly shepherds huts. Beautiful decor. Nice little self contained area for the 5 shepherd huts. Clean and modern toilet and shower facilities within less than 2 minutes. Large socially distanced communal washing up area. Large 2 acre area for exercising the dogs within 3 mins walk of shepherds huts. Couldn't fault this stay. Margaret, Apr 2021
We had a simply fabulous time at South Lytchett Manor last month. We were not sure about camping in October but the site is well insulated, the playground kept our kids well entertained and the facilities were super clean and comfortable. We loved having a shop onsite and there are water taps and electricity points in abundance.. we have stayed at a number of sites and couldn’t recommend this Beth, Nov 2020
Great campsite, really friendly and polite staff. Very clean facilities and felt ‘safe’ with all the hand sanitizer and clear signage, highly recommend - we’ll probably book one of the huts next time.... Richard , Oct 2020
