Spacious tent pitches

Guests at South Lytchett manor will have a choice of grass camping pitches, with super pitches designed to accommodation extra-large tents. For visitors who like their creature comforts, electric pitches are available with TV hook up as an additional option.

Each tent pitch has a dedicated parking space so you won’t have to walk far when unpacking.

One of the things that sets South Lytchett Manor apart from other campsites, is our range of immaculate camping facilities. Our dedicated team of staff work hard to ensure that high standards are maintained throughout the site so that guests receive nothing short of a five star stay!

Our award-winning amenities blocks are cleaned at regular intervals throughout the day. With modern showers, shaving sockets, power points, heating, piped music, fresh flowers and a dedicated disabled/family room. We think they’re some of the best shower and toilet blocks around!

 

Family friendly camping in Dorset

For children there’s an outdoor adventure play park, where they can burn off some energy and make new friends. There’s also a dedicated ball games area with badminton nets and table tennis.

We invite guests to make use of our information hut filled with maps, guides and local information when planning days out in Dorset. Our online holiday planner facility is also a great option for families researching things to do during their time at South Lytchett Manor.

 

Food and drink

South Lytchett Manor has a well-stocked shop which sells camping essentials and a selection of food and drink. For your convenience there are two large freezers for ice packs and a microwave available in our information room.

At selected times of year there is an onsite bakery where fresh pastries and bread are available each day.

There are a number of local pubs within walking distance of the park, serving a delicious selection of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We can also supply you with local takeaway menus.

 

Central location

For a great camping break in a lovely environment, look no further than our picturesque holiday park near Poole in Dorset. South Lytchett Manor’s central location affords guests easy access to a number of picturesque towns and villages nearby. We highly recommend venturing into Poole to check out the bustling harbourside. Swanage, Wareham, Bournemouth and Weymouth also offer great day trips from the park.

Some of the best beaches along the South Coast are just a short drive or bus ride from the park. Iconic beauty spots such as Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove and Old Harry Rocks are around 30 minutes away, as well as lesser known view points along the Jurassic Coast.

 

Dog friendly camping

South Lytchett Manor is a dog friendly campsite, with facilities for well-behaved four-legged friends. We’re proud to offer a dedicated dog shower to wash off muddy paws as well as an off-lead exercise area. There are a selection of dog walks that can be enjoyed from the park as well as dog friendly beaches nearby.

 

Our five star facilities include:

  • A choice of Electric or non-electric pitches, with Super pitches available for larger tents up to 9m.
  • Top quality, award winning modern amenities and toilet buildings, including disabled facilities, cleaned throughout the day to ensure a high standard is maintained
  • Shaving sockets, power points, hairdryers and family/disabled shower rooms available in the shower block with piped music.
  • Large freezer available to store ice packs for free.
  • Token operated Laundry and drying room with indoor dish washing area.
  • New children’s adventure playground installed in 2017.
  • Well-stocked shop offering fresh provisions, local produce and camping supplies.
  • On site Information Hut with local maps and guides as well as a microwave for guest use.

Terms and Conditions

South Lytchett Manor Caravan and Camping Park Ltd is a holiday touring park solely for caravans/trailer, tents/tents/motor caravans or Dorset glamping holidays in the Romany Caravans, Shepherd Huts or Glamping Pods based onsite. Guests must be bonafide holidaymakers and stay for holiday purposes only. Our guests’ enjoyment and safety is paramount and therefore we ask you to read the following Terms and Conditions before booking.We reserve the right to ask guests who contravene these Terms and Conditions or, who in any other way are behaving in a manner likely to cause distress or nuisance to other visitors, to leave the park immediately with no refund. In these circumstances the holiday ceases and we shall not be liable for any extra costs incurred by you.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) –South Lytchett Manor will be open for business in line with government advice, with all facilities and amenities open when possible. In relation to the Coronavirus outbreak, your booking is covered for the following:

  1. The park is closed
  2. The UK Government places restrictions on domestic travel
  3. You or a close family relative living in the same household are diagnosed with COVID-19 and you are unable to take your holiday as planned.

In any of these instances, please do contact us and we will offer you the following options:

  1. Transfer of dates including into 2022.
  2. A credit note to use against a future holiday if you do not yet know what dates you would like to take.
  3. A cancellation of the booking and a full refund.

If COVID-19 is not the reason for the amendment, then normal terms and conditions apply.

Access Statement and policy 

We seek to provide the very best service to all our guests and have a specially prepared Access Statement available which describes the facilities we have to offer on the park. This is available on our website, and in reception, large print copies are available.

Booking conditions 

We cater for families and couples and do not accept bookings from hen and stag parties or similar parties of three or more persons. We also reserve the right to refuse any booking.

The person who makes the booking warrants that the party will not exceed the numbers stated on the booking.

This Contract 

This contract is with South Lytchett Manor Caravan and Camping Park Ltd. Please check your confirmation carefully to see that it reflects your wishes. Please inform us of any discrepancy or queries relating to terms and conditions within 24 hours of receipt.  The terms contained in this contract do not affect your statutory rights.

The Price of the Holiday

Once you have made your booking and paid a non refundable deposit of £50.00, or the price of your holiday is less than £50, the charges relating to that holiday will not be subject to any change unless the rate of VAT increases.

The balance of the price of your holiday must be paid at least 28 days prior to your arrival date. If the balance is not paid in time then we are entitled to cancel the holiday and retain your deposit. However, every effort will be made to contact you before cancellation.

Cancellation of the Holiday by you 

You may cancel your holiday at any time. Cancellation will be effective on the date it is received by us. However cancellation charges are payable as follows:

More than 28 days before arrival:     

£50 deposit or the total price of your stay if less than £50

28 to 7 days before arrival:

70% of total holiday excluding deposit

7 days and under before arrival:

100% of holiday cost

Please ensure you have suitable insurance to cover cancellation or financial loss.

Change or cancellation of the Holiday by us 

If we are unable to provide the booked holiday and have we had to cancel before the holiday is due to start, you are entitled to a full refund of the money you have paid.

No show

If you fail to arrive on your due date and have not contacted us by 11am on the day after your arrival date we will cancel your booking and reserve the right to resell your pitch. No refunds or date changes will be offered in these circumstances. However, every effort will be made to contact you before cancellation.

Arrival and Departure

The earliest arrival time for touring and camping pitches is 12:00pm, Glamping options are 14:00pm.  You may be able to arrive later than 6pm, but a prior arrangement must be made with the site. All pitches including Glamping options must be vacated by 11:00am on the day of departure. Enquiries about early arrival/late departure must be made directly to the site. Additional charges may be incurred.

Holiday Behaviour Standards and Termination 

By making a booking with us you have entered a contract in which you undertake, on behalf of yourself and the people in your party (including children), to adopt the following standards of behaviour:

  • To act in a courteous and considerate manner towards us, our staff and other guests.
  • To supervise children properly so that they are not a nuisance or danger to themselves or others

You further agree that you will not:

  • commit any criminal offence on the Park or undertake any criminal activity
  • commit any acts of vandalism or nuisance
  • keep or carry any firearm or any other weapon on the Park
  • use any unlawful drugs
  • create any undue noise or disturbance
  • carry on any trade or business whilst on the Park.
  • The lighting of fires is strictly prohibited, anyone breaking this rule will be asked to leave the Park. Strictly no Log burners, Fire baskets or Chinese lanterns.
