Looking for a great campsite or caravan park near Christchurch? South Lytchett Manor is a superb option just 15 miles away. We are an award winning family-run Dorset campsite near Poole. We cater for all types of campers, caravans and motorhomes

ChristchurchTake a journey of around 40 minutes along the Dorset coast to the east of our park and you will arrive in the pleasant town of Christchurch. It has a much slower pace than its bustling neighbour of Bournemouth however the activities and events on offer are no less enticing.

In the historic town itself there plenty of independent shops located around the high street and Saxon Square area. And when its time to refuel there are numerous restaurants, cafes and take aways to choose from. There is also an annual Christchurch food festival which takes place each May.

If you want to find a more rural setting then head to the nearby villages of Highcliffe with its grade one listed Castle or picturesque Mudeford renowned for colourful beach huts and traditional quay; a popular spot for crab fishing and boat trips. Take a short ferry trip from Mudeford and wander around the stunning Hengistbury Head coastal nature reserve.  Or simply go walking along the golden beaches, there’s so much to see and do.

Happy Campers ツ

We had a great stay in our caravan at South Lytchett Manor. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The park had lovely toilet facilities and the site was immaculately clean. Great pub just down the road too. Will definitely return.

We were totally gobsmacked by this amazing site. We arrived on the second snowfall of the area and were blown away by the helpfulness of all the staff, even offering assistance to site van if required. Nothing was too much trouble for the team and we were made to feel like we were visiting VIP’s. Definitely a lovely clean and well kept site.
We have put this as our number one site when visiting the area. The shop is well stocked with all the paraphinailia you normally forget too.. Can’t wait to return at latter part of the year.

Couldn’t fault this site – spacious, level plots with lovely views, mine had a picnic table too!, extremely helpful staff (nothing was too much trouble), perfect location with bus stop outside. Lovely walks, ideal for dog owners, families, couples and solo travellers like me. Very clean toilet/shower block, games room, shop and even fresh bread from the onsite bakery! Lovely and quiet at night too. Will definitely be back as this is such a great site.
