Proud to be a dog friendly campsite in Dorset

We’ve been welcoming dogs onto the park for many years and are proud to be a dog friendly campsite in Dorset. Going camping with your dog is one of life’s little pleasures, for them a trip to a new camping ground enables them to enjoy new experiences and meet new people and other dogs.

Dorset is great for dogs

With so many dog friendly areas surrounding us there is no shortage of places you can take your four legged friends. The beautiful Dorset countryside is covered with some of the best dog walks in the country. There are some amazing coastal walks and wooded valleys to explore right on our door step, just come and ask us and we’ll provide you with lots of options. We keep a comprehensive folder in our information centre for local dog friendly walks. On our reception counter we even have dog biscuits to keep your four legged friends happy!

Happy Campers ツ

We have just come back from a glorious week at south lytchett! The site is immaculately clean, friendly staff and above all such a secure site for children. Our kids 8,6 and 2 loved playing in the park! We come most years and have done since I was a child but this place just gets better and better. As a busy family with 3 young children this is one of the only places we can truly switch off and relax. Pitches are a great size for large tents, onsite shop is extremely convenient and it’s in a great location to visit Poole or Bournemouth as well as many other areas. Sad to be home 🙁
Thanks again to everyone at South Lytchett!

If you are looking for a 5* caravan or camping holiday, then I can honestly say that this site is well worth a visit. Situated in between Poole and Swansea, both within easy reach by the local bus, which stops outside the main gates. If you are staying for a week, or more, then you can purchase a 7 day rover pass, which allows you travel for 7 days to anywhere. Very clean and friendly site. Site shop has basic items and is reasonably priced.

We had a great stay at South Lytchett Manor. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The showers were the best I’ve experienced on a campsite.
The croissants and fresh bread every morning were amazing. I would recommend this site unreservedly.
The bus just outside the campsite was also so convenient. All round great place!
