Proud to be a dog friendly campsite in Dorset

We’ve been welcoming dogs onto the park for many years and are proud to be a dog friendly campsite in Dorset. Going camping with your dog is one of life’s little pleasures, for them a trip to a new camping ground enables them to enjoy new experiences and meet new people and other dogs.

Dorset is great for dogs

With so many dog friendly areas surrounding us there is no shortage of places you can take your four legged friends. The beautiful Dorset countryside is covered with some of the best dog walks in the country. There are some amazing coastal walks and wooded valleys to explore right on our door step, just come and ask us and we’ll provide you with lots of options. We keep a comprehensive folder in our information centre for local dog friendly walks. On our reception counter we even have dog biscuits to keep your four legged friends happy!

Happy Campers ツ

This was our first time staying at South Lytchett Manor Caravan and Camping Park, and my two kids want to return (something they haven’t said before about other sites!).
It is spotless and free of litter, great pitches, the toilets and showers are always clean and tidy….and this reciprocates with the people staying there who always seem to keep the showers and washing up area clean and tidy….what goes around comes around!
The shop is stocked with essentials, and the coffee pod offers bacon rolls, pastries etc in the morning, which was a lovely treat some mornings.
The location is perfect for Poole and Bournemouth and other surrounding attractions, especially as the Sandbanks Ferry wasn’t in operation!
We will definitely return.

We stayed for 6 nights in August with our 2 Dogs. The site is pretty much faultless with everything provided. Very clean and comfortable facilities that are maintained through the day.

The shop is great. The highlight for me was the provisions for Dog owners. The 2 acre Dog exercise field is superb, looked after, fully secure and a good place for Dogs and owners to socialise.

Stayed here for one night in our motorhome, very nicely kept site, clean, tidy, well laid out with everything that we needed. Shower block immaculate, shop reasonable, great location and very helpful staff. Will definitely be back. thank you.
