Christmas Events in Blandford Forum
17 November to 31 December – Hall & Woodhaus Alpine Bar at The Crown Hotel. Bringing après-ski magic to Blandford, you can enjoy drinks, food, twinkling lights, and an enchanting atmosphere surrounded by real fir trees.
22 and 23 November – Bryanston Christmas Fair. 90 Stalls selling Food and Drink, Crafts, Art, Jewellery, Homeware and Garden goods. There’ll also be street food, children’s activities and wreath making workshops (pre-booking required). 10am until 4pm. Entry fee applies.
5 December – Blandford Yuletide Festival. The annual Yuletide Festival includes food and craft stalls, late night shopping, lighting of the Christmas tree and an appearance by Father Christmas.
6 December – Shop Small in Blandford Forum on Small Business Saturday. Free parking all day.
14 December – Santa Claus and Mrs Santa wil be making their annual visit to Shillingstone Station between 11am and 3pm. The cost is £5 per child, with all proceeds going towards the restoration of the North Dorset Railway. Booking required by calling 01258 860696. Children can also pick up free activity sheets from the cafe carriage.
20 December – Andre Rieu Christmas Concert, screening 2pm at Coade Hall, Bryanston School.
21 December – Carol service at Blandford Forum Parish Church, from 6pm until 8pm.
20 to 24 December – Festive Films at Coade Hall Theatre Bryanston – Miracle on 34th Street; Arthur Christmas; How the Grinch Stole Christmas; The Polar Express; Home Alone; The Muppets Christmas Carol; and Elf.
22 December – The Royal Ballet and Opera’s The Nutcracker, screening 2pm at Coade Hall, Bryanston School.
