Opposite the reception there is a small information hut containing a number of helpful resources to use throughout your stay. It serves as a mini tourist information centre with a wide selection of local attraction leaflets as well as suggestions of things to do nearby.
We’ve created handy print outs detailing a number of walks and cycle rides that can be accessed from the grounds. You can also pick up a timetable for the local bus network with information on the various routes that can be joined directly outside our gates.
If you’d like to treat yourself to a takeaway (or two!) during your stay you’ll find menus, and restaurant recommendations in the information hut. Most of the local eateries will deliver to the park – some without charge.

Next to the information hut you’ll find a traditional phone box with plenty of books inside – please feel free to borrow one to read during your stay. If you’d like to take it home with you all we ask is that you pop another in its place.
