These Are the Days Of Our Lives. Happy :)

Many happy returners

Days Out

It’s in the evening that I notice it; the happy contentment that comes from being with family and friends; nothing to do but laugh and dream, or quietly plan for tomorrow’s next great adventure. We make a settled, seasoned group – this band of fellow travellers with sun warmed faces and funny, silly stories. We don’t question or fuss. We just sit and share around a hot, bright barbecue laden with fat spicy sausages, and we drink ale or wine or good old lemonade. It doesn’t matter really. We’re just happy watching the kids run off the last of the day’s energy and glad to be alive, we remember that this is what it’s all about; these are the days of our lives.

Many thanks to Nick and Samantha Handley and friends for visiting us again and supplying the lovely photos.
