Swanage is just 30 minutes from South Lytchett Manor Caravan and Camping Park

If you're looking for a caravan site or camping near Swanage, South Lytchett Manor could be just the ticket! As a family-run campsite we cater for all types of campers, caravanners and motorhomes.

South Lytchett Manor Caravan and Camping, Swanage beach.Take a day trip to Swanage and experience a traditional seaside town which is just half an hour away from us at South Lytchett Manor. When camping in Dorset, many visitors head to the Isle of Purbeck and make a beeline for Swanage which is the largest town on the peninsula.

The journey alone is a treat as the main road into Swanage takes you past the pretty market town of Wareham and through the centre of picturesque Corfe Castle home to the ruined castle now under the ownership of The National Trust. The village also has a steam railway which runs all the way into Swanage offering a delightfully vintage way to travel to the beach resort.

Once in the town many visitors head straight to the blue flag beach to sunbathe on golden sands and swim in the sea. Away from the beach enjoy activities such as pitch and putt golf, crabbing off the pier and exploring the nature reserve at Durlston Country Park. At the start of August each year the Swanage Carnival makes the town come alive with processions, firework displays, live music and air displays.

We’re sure you’ll agree that there’s plenty things to do in Swanage for the whole family.

Happy Campers ツ

Just back from a 5 night stay at this well organised campsite and would recommend it to everyone.
Spacious pitches, well stocked onsite shop for milk, bread, bacon etc and even fresh hens eggs from the chicken coup.
The staff were all very helpful at all times.
Great shower/ toilet facilities which were kept immaculate and I didn’t have to queue once, although we arrived after the bank holiday.
The bus stop outside the entrance proved valuable for getting into Poole then onto Bournemouth airshow.
We had a really great few days, the only negative is the distant road noise which can disturb sleep, but we got used to this after a couple of nights. This wouldn’t stop us going back though.
Thanks for a lovely stay, we will return.

We love it here and have now been coming for years! A fantastic site, brilliantly maintained to exceptional standards. Jo, Dave and Mathew and all the staff are all extremely friendly and always helpful. Lovely welcome when you arrive. The site us brilliantly located for exploring the whole area, though you need a car or to use the bus which stops right outside the campsite. We have made great friends here over the years who we now camp with regularly, including returning here each year. Got home yesterday and are definitely experiencing the holiday blues!
