Poole is a perfect place to visit – and it’s so close to South Lytchett Manor! Once you’ve settled in at our top quality site, you can head off to the coast where Poole awaits with its busy quay area, fantastic beaches and stunning natural harbour.

There’s plenty to keep you occupied for hours on end; everything from watersports and shopping to boat shows and biking. And when the sun goes down, the calm and tranquillity of South Lytchett Manor will be waiting. Watching the pennies? Check some of the free things to do in Poole.

Stunning, Blue Flag Awarded Beaches

Including Britain’s best beach, Sandbanks – build the biggest sandcastle and then visit the nearby Pinecliff play sculptures and Treasure Island play area.

National Trust Brownsea Island

If you love nature and want to escape for the day, Brownsea Island is the perfect to explore, relax and take time out. For something different to keep the kids amused, enjoy summer story-telling, den building and mini beast safaris.

Park Life

Pack a picnic and head to one of the town’s top parks, check out Upton Country Park for woodland walks, play trails, stunning gardens and new water feature for the kids to cool off. Poole Park for watersports, play areas; The Ark – soft play, ice rink and cafe and lots more or Hamworthy Park for its beachside play area, paddling pool and cafe. you are spoilt for choice!

Tower Park

The South Coast’s largest entertainment centre, Tower Park, is the perfect wet weather option! 10 screen cinema, bowling, waterpark, soft play and plenty of restaurants.

Poole Pottery

Visit the studio and watch the throwers, artists and designers in action. Have a go at making your own masterpiece in the paint a pot area.

Poole Museum

Poole’s rich history is revealed in Poole Museum’s four floors of galleries. Displays range from archaeology to art, from pirates to potteries. Look out for the special events to keep your little ones entertained.
