Farmer Palmers is one of Dorset’s leading family attractions. This popular farm park is just a short drive from our caravan and camping site near Poole and offers plenty of exciting activities on offer to keep the little ones entertained. The park is mainly geared towards the under 8’s, but all ages for a fun-filled family day out.
During your visit to Farmer Palmers head to the barn to meet the many different animals that live on the farm. You can handle guinea pigs and watch the cheeky goats, rabbits and miniature donkeys. Outside, hand feed deer and meet the resident ponies, alpacas, cows, sheep, pigs, chickens and ducks. For a small additional cost, guests can hop onto our Tractor Trailer Ride and head down to see, and hand feed the Deer.

Once you’ve met all the farm animals, little ones can play on the pedal tractors and go karts, get wet in the sand and splash zone or take a leisurely walk along the pretty woodland trail. In the summer there are lots of pretty flowers and plants to admire. There are also lots of different pieces of play equipment, including bouncy castles, slides and soft play. Head off along the Woodland Walk and meet find pre-historic friends along the The World of Dinosaur Roar Discovery Trail.
During the summer there are seasonal events such as the maize maze. Over Christmas – Farmer Christmas pays a festive visit to this popular Dorset farm park.
Onsite is the large Hen House Restaurant, where families can enjoy fresh, homemade meals.
There’s plenty of space to enjoy a picnic at Farmer Palmers. Pack some sandwiches and enjoy a midday snack in the sunshine, surrounded by the Dorset countryside.
