The first 10 years: Look how far we’ve come!
When Dave and Jo Bridgen took over South Lytchett Manor in 2006, their vision was clear; the best campsite they could possibly build. Now, ten years on, they’ve spent thousands of hours of hard work building brand new facilities, setting up attractions, equipping pitches and mowing what feels like millions of square feet of lawn (!) in their bid to improve every possible aspect of the site.
But has it all been worthwhile? If their guest opinions are anything to go by, the answer is a resounding ‘Yes’. Check out the new video above and hear first-hand from campers and caravanners just how much they love the site that has grown up and flourished in the heart of the beautiful Dorset countryside.
From dog friendly walks and beautifully maintained grounds, to top quality facilities, great local pub, free Wi-Fi across the park and the breath-taking new Romany Caravans, the feedback is positive and full of praise… ‘Absolutely faultless, just superb, fantastic staff, immaculate, beautiful gardens, lovely family-run site, play area for children, very dog friendly, fun, safe, happy family camping holiday …’
A brand new video showcases the many advantages of booking a holiday at South Lytchett Manor which is in Lytchett Minster, a lovely Dorset village close to Poole, Bournemouth and the striking Jurassic coast. Visitors who return year on year are seen emphasising how peaceful and well-kept they find it – how they would come back tomorrow if they could!
There’s also another new video that concentrates on the romantic idea of spending a holiday in a charming and cosy Romany Caravan – bespoke, hand-built caravans that sleep four and are perfect for first time campers or anyone who wants to try something different and fun.
With every year that passes, South Lytchett Manor wins more hearts among campers looking for the ideal spot to stay. Jo and Dave Bridgen, their son Matt and the rest of the staff believe the next 10 years hold even more promise and look forward to welcoming you to this great site.
