Enjoy a Free Bottle of Wine at St Peter’s Finger

Days Out

When staying at South Lytchett Manor Caravan Park you’re only a 5-minute walk from one of the best pubs in the area. St Peter’s Finger is the perfect country pub to visit after a long day of exploring the area and our guests will receive a free bottle of wine to enjoy when two main courses are bought. So, it’s the perfect excuse to raise a toast and celebrate our park being awarded overall winner of the Top 100 Sites Guide by Practical Caravan and Practical Motorhome magazine.

Sumptuous dishes

A bottle of red goes perfectly with their Steak & Tanglefoot Pie, Silver Medal Winner at the British Pie Awards 2017, or enjoy light and flaky Spice Crusted Hake with a glass or two of white wine. Their selection of wines complements the fresh dishes and if you’re unsure, then their friendly staff will be more than happy to help.

One of the many wonderful Hall & Woodhouse pubs, this relaxed village destination offers delicious dishes made with fresh ingredients, a great selection of puddings and locally brewed ales. There’s food to suit everyone, so if you’re vegetarian, vegan or looking for something for the little ones, St Peter’s Finger can cater to all.

The ideal getaway

If you’re giving your four-legged friend a holiday too, there’s no need to leave them behind as the pub is dog friendly. So, if you’re coming back from a walk, or you need to refuel after a trip to the beach then feel free to bring them along – there’s water bowls situated around the pub area so they can enjoy refreshments too.

Although you’re probably enjoying the escape from the everyday hustle and bustle, you can always check in and find out what’s happening back home by taking advantage of the free WiFi. Upload your holiday pictures, check the weather or even deal with a work email or two – but not for too long as you’ll want to make the most of the relaxing atmosphere and cosy country pub surroundings.

Available all year round

Even if you’re visiting our award-winning park later in the year, there’s no need to miss out as we’ve been treating our guests to this offer since 2010. As we’re so close, we’ve built up a great relationship with the pub and all its staff – especially since we’ll pop there for a tipple or two as well.

Jo Brigden, owner of Lytchett Manor Caravan Park says “We’ve been delighted to be able to offer our guests a free bottle of wine at our local pub for so long. We always hear great feedback from our guests when they return to our campsite from St Peter’s Finger. The quality of the food, drinks and service that they receive is first rate. This offer is one of many unique selling points that keeps bringing previous guests back to us and attracts new customers through our gates for the first time.”

So, whether you’ve gone for a romantic evening out, or a lazy Sunday afternoon roast, and you’re enjoying two main courses, don’t forget to give your voucher to the server to show that you’re staying with us and you’ll be able to enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine – it’s on us!

What our guests think

quote marksAbsolutely superb! Very speedy, efficient check in. Office couldn't do enough for you. Customer service top class. Our family party stayed in 3 dog friendly shepherds huts. Beautiful decor. Nice little self contained area for the 5 shepherd huts. Clean and modern toilet and shower facilities within less than 2 minutes. Large socially distanced communal washing up area. Large 2 acre area for exercising the dogs within 3 mins walk of shepherds huts. Couldn't fault this stay.quote marks Margaret, Apr 2021

quote marksWe had a simply fabulous time at South Lytchett Manor last month. We were not sure about camping in October but the site is well insulated, the playground kept our kids well entertained and the facilities were super clean and comfortable. We loved having a shop onsite and there are water taps and electricity points in abundance.. we have stayed at a number of sites and couldn’t recommend thisquote marks Beth, Nov 2020

quote marksGreat campsite, really friendly and polite staff. Very clean facilities and felt ‘safe’ with all the hand sanitizer and clear signage, highly recommend - we’ll probably book one of the huts next time....quote marks Richard , Oct 2020
