Taking your faithful four legged companion away with you can be one of the best things about going camping. Often, being able to take the whole family, including your dog on holiday is a fantastic experience for all involved.
We appreciate that your special holiday moments just aren’t the same without your dog being there too. That’s why we strive to offer the best dog friendly camping in the UK. A major plus point of dog friendly camping is not having to worry about who is going to look after your pet whilst you’re away. Read on to find out how we’ve made South Lytchett Manor even more appealing to dog owners…
Superbly maintained and constantly being improved, we have long been a firm favourite with campers and caravan owners with dogs. Many keep returning to enjoy the friendly and relaxed atmosphere we have created on our family-run campsite in Dorset.
With the changes we’ve made over the past decade, we have now established ourselves as one of the best dog friendly parks in the country. We have a dedicated 2.5-acre dog exercise field where your four-legged friend can let off some steam off the lead. And new for 2018 is a dog washing area to wash off muddy paws. This keeps owners caravans and motorhomes mud free zones!
Away from the park there are fantastic numerous sandy beaches, hidden coves to discover, dramatic coastlines and rugged countryside viewpoints which will simply take your breath away. Many guests who stay with their dogs take in a walk along the South West Coast Path and then catch a bus back to the park.
There are plenty of nearby places to visit including dog-friendly beaches, gardens, visitor attractions and pubs. Our local pub St. Peter’s Finger is only a 5 minute walk away and welcomes dogs in the bar and beer garden. And once you’ve both worked up an appetite you can refuel as our Park shop sells doggie dinners, snacks and a range of dog treats.
We’re sure that you and your dog have some unforgettable holiday memories waiting to be made at our dog friendly campsite in Dorset.
