Poole Quay Dream Machines

Every Tuesday from 5th April – 27th April 2022

18:00 – 22:00

Free entry to spectators. £2 to show a bike. Season tickets also available.

Every Tuesday throughout the summer bikers congregate at Poole Quay for one of the biggest bike nights in the country. The main road is shut off to cars and more than 1000 motorcycles ride into town, creating a real spectacle for the biking enthusiasts and spectators that come to soak up the atmosphere. Each competitor vies for the chance to win the coveted ‘Bike of the Night’ prize, which is chosen by a different judge each week. There are usually a range of makes and models on display covering all eras of motor racing.

Folk On The Quay

Get your dancing shoes ready for Folk on the Quay, a colourful one-day festival showcasing the very best acoustic and folk music in Dorset. More than twenty teams of Morris dancers will perform in the streets over the course of the day and an excellent line up of local artists will grace the 3 outdoor stages. If you’d like to participate there will also be a street barn dance and ceilidh to take part in!

Join hundreds of car enthusiasts for a meet up at Poole Quay every Friday night throughout the summer. Each week there is a different theme, including Best of British, VW air cooled and Italian Stallions. This wonderful motor event is free for spectators and draws owners from around the country to showcase their beloved wheels.

Poole Goes Vintage

9th & 10th July 2022

Poole Goes Vintage is back and set to be bigger and better than ever before. This wonderful event celebrates all things 1940’s and showcases some of the eras best music, fashion and forms of transport. Enjoy a day spent listening to sounds of a bygone era with live performances from a range of local acts. There will also be a vintage fashion show as well as a range of stalls where you can purchase memorabilia, jewellery and clothes.

Find out more about the RNLI and the incredible work the charity does at the Poole Lifeboat Stations Open Day. Participate in a range of family friendly activities and games to raise money for the charity. Watch demonstrations from the fleet of lifeboats and meet the serving crew before taking a look around the boats to learn about the difficult task of maintaining them. Treat yourself to some refreshment and cake on your way out or a souvenir to commemorate your visit.
