Spring is here in Dorset County,

A riotous colour of floral bounty.

Trees awaken from their winter slumber,

And daffodils are blooming in an ever increasing number.

Bees can be seen buzzing among our wildflowers,

Pollinating beauty, as is their super power.

Birds are singing songs of happiness and joy,

Even when it is not heard by any girl or boy.

We might be closed here at South Lytchett Manor,

But nature does not change to any human planner.

Rest assured that against the backdrop of doom and gloom,

The site is flourishing and still coming into bloom.

So that when we emerge from our temporary hibernation,

We will be ready to host your relaxing stay-cation.

We have been using our unexpected down time to try new things (like poems) but also to slow down, appreciate time with those closest to us both physically and socially through technology, and really pay attention to spring and all the beauty that comes with it.

The campsite has never looked so beautiful and we can’t wait to share it with you in person soon! For now, we shall send you some spring time photos so that hopefully they will brighten up your day.

As it stands, it is still far too difficult to put a date on when we shall be open again. We hope it will be June or July, it may be longer. We are keeping a keen eye on the situation and will be in constant communication with you to keep you updated.
