Owners David and Jo Bridgen and Managers Debbie and Phil Tonks were delighted to receive the award, announced in a virtual ceremony by the AA on Wednesday Afternoon.

We have always worked hard to provide the best experience for our guests and to provide genuine and meaningful holidays for all. Winning the Overall Campsite of the Year for 2021 means we are continuing to move in the right direction and to have that recognition has brought a smile to everyone’s face.
5 Star Campsite Facilities
South Lytchett Manor used the time that they were unable to be open in the past two years constructively and focused on the years to come by expanding and improving amenities and facilities on the park. The two biggest improvements included six new Glamping Pods and a New Café.
The new Glamping additions to the Park, handcrafted by staff onsite, have been fully booked since re-opening and include underfloor heating and eco friendly materials.
Similarly, the new cafe onsite serving hot drinks such as freshly ground barista coffee, tea, hot chocolate and lots of local Dorset goodies including fresh bakery products, cream teas and Jessica’s Cakes has been equally successful. This was created after knocking through the shop to create a much more open environment and welcoming environment.
