At the Bournemouth Pavilion last week, some of the team attended the prestigious Destination Management Board (DMB) Tourism Awards 2023.
This grand occasion celebrates true excellence in business in companies and organisations across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.
This year, we entered the Self-Catering category for our glamping units, focussing on the time and effort we have put in to developing this side of our business. For those that don’t know, some of our glamping accommodation; namely our glamping pods and shepherd huts were hand built by our very own Matt. They each feature bespoke interiors and underfloor heating.
On the night it was announced that we’d scooped Gold for our efforts!
Joanne Bridgen, Owner of South Lytchett Manor Caravan and Camping Park adds:
“As you can imagine, we are absolutely thrilled to have been recognised for our glamping accommodation in the DMB Tourism Awards!
“Our team work relentlessly to provide excellent customer service and to improve facilities and services for our guests year on year.
“We’ve got some exciting plans coming up for the 2024 season and we are delighted to be going into the new year with the backing and encouragement from our local community.”
Find out more about our glamping accommodation, we have shepherd huts, glamping pods and Romany Caravans. Each sleep up to four guests (2 adults and 2 children up to the age of 14) and many are pet-friendly too.
