What makes us such a great rally campsite…

  • A flat rally field with electric hook-ups and TV connection points.

  • Space to locate your marquee or gazebo for gatherings.

  • Modern, shower and toilet facilities, with piped music. Cleaned throughout the day to ensure a high standard is maintained.

  • Indoor dish washing areas.

  • A well stocked shop offering a good range of provisions, free range eggs, caravan equipment and supplies, maps and guides.

  • Large off lead dog walking area.
  • The local pub St. Peter’s Finger and the Courtyard Craft centre with café and function room are both within walking distance.

  • The bus stops right outside the main gates, with regular buses to Poole, Swanage and along the Jurassic Coast to Weymouth.

What other Rally Members said…

“From a Rally Organiser/Marshal point of view South Lytchett Manor ticks all the boxes that Rally Clubs are looking for when searching for suitable caravan sites. Whether it’s for a small rally group of around ten units or a larger group of over 30 the site is well geared up to cope.

Having a dedicated rally field is a big bonus in that it allows all the rally attendees to be grouped together so that they can socialise and be able to meet up easily during their stay. The area at South Lytchett Manor can accommodate small marquees or rally tents to be able to hold get togethers in the evenings. The added advantage of a separate rally area is that it also makes it far better for the other tourers on site as there is less noise or intrusion for them.

Rallies also have use, of the sites top quality facilities, which are adjacent to the rally field. Although the rally field has only grass pitches it does have electric hook ups.

For rally organisers it’s important to have plenty to do in the area and this is where South Lytchett Manor scores heavily – there is plenty to do in this area regardless of weather conditions. A good example of this at one of our rallies was being able to organise a group trip to Brownsea Island, from Poole Quay, which was the highlight of our rally weekend, but there are plenty of other places to visit in this area. We also tend to have a mix of caravans and motorhomes on our rallies and the bus stop outside of the gate makes all the difference in getting about especially for the motorhome members.

All in all a very good and popular venue for ralliers.”

“We were part of a 35 van Auto-Trail Rally and everything went very well. Piped music and flowers in the toilets which were comfortably heated. Free Wi-Fi. Good shop with fresh eggs. Good café nearby and a first class pub 10 minutes walk.”

“I would like to say a big thank you to the staff at South Lytchett Manor who are always very friendly and helpful from booking the rally to when we are on site, we have rallied there for quite a few years now in March and we like to have hard standing being a Motorhome group and they always manage to accommodate us as much as possible. The site is always clean and tidy and the showers are excellent.

“A quick note to express our gratitude to you all for the brilliant service we received from you and all the staff at the South Lytchett Manor campsite. The local knowledge and hints that you made available, the removal of the kissing gates for wheelchair access and your flexibility around the times on departure date in light of the remembrance parade, were all well and truly above and beyond.”

“I have visited this site several times, running Caravan Club Rallies here. The park staff are very welcoming and eager to please. The bus stop is just outside the gate. Adjoining the site is the Courtyard craft centre and Dylans restaurant and cafe. Always look forward to visiting.”
