We are delighted to announce that our first Romany Bowtop Caravan ‘Anastasia’ is now on site here at South Lytchett Manor, and that we are now taking bookings from holidaymakers who want to experience their very own Romany Escape.
We will shortly take delivery of another three of these beautiful, hand painted Romany caravans which offer the best of all worlds — cool and open in the summer, warm and cosy in the winter. Fitted to the highest specification, each one is hand built by craftsmen, featuring a full size double and two single beds, insulated oak floor and electric log burner. There’s also a TV and DVD player, refrigerator, sockets with USB points, a two ring electric hob and hob kettle. Combine all this with beautiful upholstery and a wooden deck complete with garden furniture, and your Dorset glamping experience is complete.
We’ll be delighted to welcome you when you arrive at South Lytchett Manor, renowned as one of the best campsites in Dorset. You will be shown personally to your Gypsy Romany Caravan, handmade by Chris Ward at Wildwood Designs and painted by Sarah Harvey, a professional traditional waggon painter. As our guests, you will also have full access to our top quality, clean and modern amenities. Great examples are the new shower rooms which are luxurious, heated, and of the highest standard. We also offer washing and drying facilities.

We booked for two nights in our Motorhome and ended up staying six nights. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Shower blocks were kept clean and water was lovely and hot. Bus stop directly outside site going to Poole and Swanage on the he number 40 bus route. Worth getting a return ticket to save money Mo, Oct 2021
We had a simply fabulous time at South Lytchett Manor last month. We were not sure about camping in October but the site is well insulated, the playground kept our kids well entertained and the facilities were super clean and comfortable. We loved having a shop onsite and there are water taps and electricity points in abundance.. we have stayed at a number of sites and couldn’t recommend this Beth, Nov 2020
Great campsite, really friendly and polite staff. Very clean facilities and felt ‘safe’ with all the hand sanitizer and clear signage, highly recommend - we’ll probably book one of the huts next time.... Richard , Oct 2020
