Cycle hire

We’re delighted to have a selection of bikes available to hire at South Lytchett Manor if you want to explore the local area without a car during your stay. From nearby Upton Country Park you can access a network of cycle paths, with a wide selection of scenic trails to suit all ages and abilities. Some of our favourites hug the coast and follow Poole Harbour into town and along the Quay. There are also some excellent woodland and countryside routes nearby.

All of our bikes are maintained to the highest standard and come with helmets for added piece of mind. We have a selection of adults, children’s and infants’ bikes available to hire for competitive prices for the day or the duration of your stay.

Play park

Children will love spending time at our outdoor adventure play park. There’s plenty of equipment to try out including a climbing frame, slide and swings. They can run and play to their hearts content and burn off some steam ensuring a good night’s sleep! There’s also a dedicated area for football and other ball games.

South Lytchett Manor occupies a convenient location, within easy reach of Bournemouth, Poole, Swanage, Weymouth and Dorchester. We’re perfectly placed for accessing some of the best family friendly attractions in the county, including farm parks, museums, swimming pools, aquariums and outdoor adventure activity centres.

Just a short drive of the park you will find some beautiful beaches if you fancy a day at the seaside. There are also some fantastic wet weather activities if the weather takes a turn for the worse during your stay.

Wood and pond area

One of the best things about camping or caravanning is spending time in the great outdoors. We encourage children to ditch technology and embrace nature during a break at our award-winning holiday park. We have a wood and scenic pond area with ducks and other wildlife. We also have our very own chickens on site!

We have an excellent selection of holiday accommodation to choose from if you’re planning a family holiday in Dorset. Bring your own caravan, motorhome and tent and make the most of our spacious touring pitches, or try something a bit different and stay in one of our glamping options.

Glamping is great fun and often the highlight of our younger visitors stay. We have 4 options available – our traditional Romany caravans, shepherd’s huts , Star-gazing Yurts and glamping pods.
